Theather, a step ahead.
I can still remember the day that girl was killed on stage. The sound of lighting. The curse she made.
As a child of such a young age, I freaked out but as much as it spooked the hell out of me, my anticipation went high. What happen to her after this? what happen to the land? what happen to her husband? and so the questions went on and on.
Mahsuri was the first ever theater I saw and the love for live plays grow bigger ever since. Can't really remember when was the play but my mom bought the tickets for the four of us. me mom dad lil sis. Well, it must have been somewhere before 2005 because lil boy wasn't around. KLPAC was still new at that time and somehow still have construction here and there if i'm not mistaken. The architecture blew me away because it doesn't resemble anything like Sentul.
(No offence). At that time, those roads in Sentul West was undoubtedly magical.
Guess what? that was the first and the last theater I watched. tehee
Fast forward, in my final semester for foundation, I went to Tronoh Theater Shop recruitment. Having acquaintances in TTS who supported me much, helped in boosting the confidence though. It went okay I guess. Brought along my two friends and we all got accepted in. *virtual applause*
I didn't apply for actors at first place instead I went for props and other stuffs. Which is cool I reckon because I like the artsy environment without being attached to scripts and getting the emotions out of me yet I spent my time rejoicing acting at the practice. explain that !
Maybe i find amusement in watching play that's why I wanna be part of it.
For TSM ( teater sepuluh minit/ 10 mins theather) this Sunday, i'm going to play this Fura Panda character, an over the top divalish controversial artist that neglects Islamic teachings that covers on what good woman should possess. Wish me luck on that because the last thing i wanna do is screwing it. Toodles ~
